YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy, in plain English.
Last updated: 17 October 2026.
Who is responsible
Ciprian Pop, trading as CP Constructions and based in Wembley, is responsible for how customer information is used. For a privacy question or request, email [email protected] or call 07772 162 374. Our website support contact helps us handle messages sent to the displayed address.
What we collect and why
The enquiry form asks for your first name, postcode, type of work, preferred contact method and the email address or phone number needed to reply. Project notes are optional. There is no customer account or website photo upload. Please leave out payment details, identity documents and sensitive personal information.
Providing details is your choice, not a legal requirement. We need the required fields to respond to a form enquiry; you can also call or email instead. If you send photographs or further details during a conversation, we use those to understand your project.
- Enquiries and agreed work: we use your details to discuss your request, prepare a quotation and arrange work. The basis is taking steps you request before a contract, or performing that contract.
- Running and protecting the business: our legitimate interests include responding to general questions, preventing misuse, maintaining relevant correspondence and dealing with complaints or disputes.
- Legal obligations: where work proceeds, relevant transaction records may be needed for tax or other legal requirements.
We do not add enquiry contacts to marketing lists. Choosing WhatsApp lets us reply there about your request; it is not consent to unrelated marketing. We do not use enquiries to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Services that handle information
- Cloudflare: hosts and protects this website. Technical request information, such as IP address, browser information and request time, may be processed to deliver the pages and detect abuse. Cloudflare privacy information.
- FormSubmit: receives the details you submit, runs its security check and forwards the enquiry to our displayed email address. It documents that it retains submissions for 30 days; this is separate from the email copy in our inbox. Its external confirmation page may use Google reCAPTCHA and cookies. FormSubmit privacy information and Google privacy information.
- Our business email service: our existing mailbox is managed through Zeek Design using Stackmail. It stores incoming and sent messages and attachments, including enquiries forwarded by FormSubmit. Messages may also be synchronised to the devices we use for work. Contact us using the details above for information about our email arrangements.
- WhatsApp: handles conversations you choose to start or receive there. The website opens an editable draft; you must press Send. Submitting our form does not automatically send a WhatsApp message, and WhatsApp conversations are not synchronised into this website. WhatsApp privacy information.
Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the people helping us respond and provide the requested service. We may share relevant information with professional advisers or authorities where needed for a legal obligation or dispute. We do not sell enquiry information.
Processing outside the UK
Our service providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States. The linked provider notices describe their international processing. Contact us if you would like information about the arrangements and safeguards applicable to your information.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept while we discuss the request and decide whether work will go ahead. If it does, relevant records are kept to manage the work, aftercare, accounting obligations and any dispute. We consider the last contact, whether the matter is still active and any applicable legal requirement when deciding what to delete. We do not retain an unsuccessful enquiry indefinitely simply because it arrived by email.
Removing a message from our working inbox does not recall copies already sent to you or another recipient. Provider archives, backups and device copies have separate deletion arrangements. Ask us if you need help understanding or deleting a particular record.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion or restriction, and request a portable copy where the right applies. Some information may need to be kept for legal reasons. If processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use.
Your right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above and we will consider your circumstances.
You can raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Cookies, links and photographs
The website itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and does not store form entries in browser storage. Unsent details remain in the open page and are lost when you close or refresh it. Fonts and project photographs are served with the website. External pages you open, including FormSubmit, WhatsApp and Checkatrade, have their own privacy and cookie arrangements.
The portfolio uses project photographs and feedback from the business’s public Checkatrade profile for our legitimate interest in showing examples of our work. Public pages use broad locations rather than full street addresses or customer names. Reviews are quoted with their source; general company feedback is distinguished from a project-specific testimonial. Contact us if a photograph or review identifies you and you would like to raise a concern or object to its use. Checkatrade privacy information.
We will update this notice when the services we use or the way we handle information changes.
